Bagdogra to Phuentsholing
Pick up from Bagdogra with a warm meet-and-greet on arrival. Drive onward to Phuentsholing, Bhutan's bustling southern gateway town on the Indian border, for overnight stay.
(Distance: 160 km | Driving Time: ~4 hrs)
Phuentsholing to Thimphu
After breakfast check out and proceed for permit processing, visit Kharbandi Gumpa / Milerapa Lhakhang. Drive through spectacular mountain scenery and peaceful countryside via Gedu (approx. 9,000 ft above sea level), stopping for photos at Wankha Waterfalls, before arriving in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Check in and overnight stay.

Thimphu – Dochula – Punakha Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Dochula Pass (3,150 m), offering some of the most enchanting mountain views in Bhutan. Continue to Punakha to visit: Chimi Lhakhang, Pho Chu & Mo Chu Rivers, Punakha Dzong, Suspension Bridge. Overnight stay in Thimpu

After breakfast in the morning check out & proceed for full day local sightseeing tour of Thimphu including: National Library, Simply Bhutan, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point & Hindu Temple, Changangkha Lhakhang, Tashichho Dzong (Seat of Government), Takin Reserve Centre, Zorig Chusum – School of 13 Traditional Arts & Crafts.Drive along the Wangchu river through the valley floor, past the suburbs and villages of Thimphu, to the river confluence at Chuzom — a hub for roads to Paro, Haa and Phuentsholing. From Chuzom, follow the Pa Chu river upstream past Tachogang Temple to Paro. Overnight stay in Paro.

Paro Full Day Sightseeing
